Privacy policy

Your email address and display name, your date of birth (to confirm you meet the age requirement), the pools you host or join, the amounts you put in, the outcome you picked, and any cover photo a host uploads to their pool.

We also keep a timestamp of when you accepted these terms, so both of us have a record of it.

Card numbers, expiry dates, and security codes are collected by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. They never reach Poolsy's servers and we cannot see them. We store only Stripe's reference IDs so we can match an entry to a payment, refund it, or pay a pot out.

If you receive a payout, Stripe collects the identity and bank details it needs to verify you. Poolsy never sees or stores ID documents or bank account numbers.

Cover photos are stored privately and served through short-lived links, so they are not publicly browsable. Anyone with a pool's private link can see that pool's photo, title, and leaderboard — that's the point of a shareable pool, so only share the link with people you want in it.

Stripe, for payments, payouts, and identity verification. Our hosting and database provider, to run the app. Nobody else. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers.

Pool and payment records are kept for seven years, because financial records have to be retained. Everything else is deleted when you delete your account.

Email us and we'll delete your account and personal data, keeping only the financial records the law requires. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
